Just yesterday we reported Nissan are planning to launch a Denki Cube Concept based electric vehicle in 2010 and way and behold look what turns up today but a well covered prototype for the all new Nissan Cube. Although this is the petrol powered version we are likely to see sometime in 2009.
Despite the heavy camoflage we can still see the overall body profile stays true to the concept form and we can see grille and headlights area of the front fascia (the only area that remains uncovered) appears to have retained the styling cues from the Denki Cube Concept which we first saw at the New York Auto Show in March.

Isn't the Denki Cube Concept just a hybrid conceopt based on the production Cube?
If the USDM Cube is based on the Denki Cube Concept... that means is should look similar to the current JDM Cube models... http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/3305/cubecube303ct1.jpg
