Now the California has been released, the famous Italian Marque needs to start on the next project that they can deny for 2 years. Could it possibly be a removable hardtop version of the Ferrari F430? Judging by these photos attained by autogespot, it appears that this possibilty could well be a reality.

The Ferrari F430 has been on the market for since 2004 and we can fully assume Ferrari are working on a successor, so there is still the possibility this could also be a mule for its replacement, or as a complete mood killer suggestion, this could be just a simple tuning job by a Ferrari owner looking to add a bit of individuality to his car.

Unfortunately our suspicions hint at a the simple tuning job, but if you disagree, let us know below.

the thing hanging off the back should be the number plate, right? and i guess this is really the successor of the f430, presumably the f500?

...hm don't think so. Maybe it's simply a F430 with hardtop from a tuner...

I'm going for a special edition F430, with presumably some novelty regarding the top of the car.
