Production Chevy Camaro to Debut Within 4 Months
Chevy Camro Prototype

Over the past 24 hours there has been some discussions debating exactly when we are likely to see the full debut of the highly anticipated Chevrolet Camaro. It all started when various forums reported that General Motors had announced it will be unveiled at the Indy 08, Back at the Brickyard Event in September, however our friends over at autoblog dug a little deeper to be told it will actually debut BEFORE this date.

It had been expected to debut in the glitzy durroundings of the Detroit Auto Show in January next year but this new information raises the obvious question - What event is happening between now and the 19th September that could possibly warrant such a high profile debut?

We pretty much know what the exterior will look like after Bob Lutz ordered for all camoflage to be removed from the pre production prototypes (see above), although there is a possibility a few minor details could change on production

the black one looks like the perfect night rider car. If they are actually going to make the night rider show again they should definitely use it over the mustang.

I think the Challenger is more attractive! It shows that it combines the past and future in a better way... My opinion :)

Its a great gorgeous car, worth anybodys money. But for me, my favorite muscle car of all time was the '71 Challenger, so personally im a fan of the new one, in the 3 muscle car pack.

damn... they still decided to go on with that plain old rear end lights... i mean two SQAURES??? come on now. I think the SEBRING has better looking rear lights compared to this and that was voted the ugliest car of the year :P lol. all in all... front end looks great, rear sucks... annnnnd i'll be in the challenger driving away, looking good all around (if i had to choose).

I agree Challenger better represents the muscle car heroes, yet Camaro is a nice one too. I also agree that GM is too late to put the car on the market after so many spyshots and rumours etc etc.

Been waiting for the release of this Camaro. It has turned in to a long drawn out joke. What a disappoitment it has been to pay $45K for a chevy truck an it turned out to be a P.O.S! Hopefully this car will be build better than the junk Chevy has been turning out in the past! "This is coming from a guy that has own more that a few chevys!" Good luck Chevy!
