The new Fiat 500 may be Car of the Year, but Novitec can always find a way to improve on things like performance and exclusivity when it comes to Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and of course Fiat.
Starting with the engines, Novitec has taken the 1.3 liter JTD turbo-diesel to 83 hp / 61 kW from its stock 70 hp / 51.5 kW, reducing its 0-100 km/h sprint time to 11.9 seconds and raising its top speed to 165 km/h. All this is possible through a plug-and-play control module available for just Euro 335.
The 1.4 liter 16-valve petrol engine receives a supercharger, boosting its output to 131 hp / 96.4 kW while torque increases from 131 Nm to 172 Nm. The nimble little engine can propel the Fiat 500 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.8 seconds while its top speed is 198 km/h.
Novitec also offers a stainless steel exhaust with either one or two exhaust tips, a front apron with spoiler and additional air dams and 16 or 17 inch multi-spoke wheels (up to 215/35 R 17 for front and rear) with matching suspension modifications. There are two option in regards to the suspension, either sport springs in combination with the production shock absorbers or a height-adjustable coil-over sport suspension set which can lower the car from 30 mm to 80mm.

NOVITEC Refines the Fiat 500
Powerful, agile and exclusive: These three attributes best describe the NOVITEC customization program for the new Fiat 500. Engine tuning with up to 131 hp / 96.4 kW, even sportier handling characteristics with 16- and 17-inch tire/wheel combinations and matching suspension modifications, as well as a more striking front thanks to the NOVITEC front spoiler make the small Italian car even more desirable.
The aerodynamic-enhancement part is mounted to the production apron and lends the Fiat 500 an even more striking face. Integrated air dams provide cooling air to the front brakes. The front spoiler sells for 159 Euros MSRP.
With the POWERRAIL 4 module for the 1.3 JTD turbodiesel model NOVITEC offers powerful engine tuning at low cost. The auxiliary control module is designed as a plug-and-play unit that can be installed in just a few minutes. It costs just 335 Euros and increases power output of the common-rail engine from standard 70 hp / 51.5 kW to 83 hp / 61 kW. It reduces sprint time from rest to 100 km/h to 11.9 seconds. Top speed grows from 160 to 165 km/h.
More driving fun through supercharging will soon be available from NOVITEC for the 16-valve 1.4-liter engine of the Fiat 500 HP model. The mechanical supercharger provides a linear power development that reaches its peak of 131 hp / 96.4 kW at 6,200 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows from standard 131 Nm to 172 Nm at 5,300 rpm. Thus powered the two-door car accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h in just 8.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 198 km/h.
With or without engine tuning: the NOVITEC stainless-steel sport mufflers, available with one or two tailpipes, lend the engine a more powerful exhaust note.
NOVITEC optimizes the agile handling of the Fiat 500 with custom-tailored wheels and corresponding sophisticated suspension solutions. The NOVITEC N8 multi-spoke wheels start at 129 Euros and are available in sizes 7Jx16 and 7Jx17. Customer can choose from silver, matte-black with polished rim or chrome-look wheels, and from tires up to size 215/35 R 17 front and back.
NOVITEC also offers sports springs that complement the sporty low-profile tires. They are used in combination with the production shock absorbers. NOVITEC also offers a complete height-adjustable coil-over sport suspension with a lowering range between 30 and 80 millimeters.
The cockpit can be customized with sporty accessories such as aluminum pedals.
