The first and only Lamborghini Reventon left for sale on the market has arrived at a dealership in Las Vegas, of the 20 units scheduled for production (plus 2 more for Lambo to keep for themselves) 19 are already spoken for with this extra special unit to carry a special label – Lamborghini Reventon 1/20.
Considering this is the last available model of a very special car, we can expect an exceptionally high price, the Reventon was priced at a cool €1 million ($1.4 million) excluding taxes by the Italian manufacturer, but with the initial dealership mark up and then the scramble from the super rich looking to get it, we wouldn't be surprised to see it go for close to $2 million.
Based on the Murciélago LP640, the Reventon (named after a famous fighting bull) was inspired by the fastest airplanes which we can clearly see with the sharp edges and pointy nose. The engine has been tuned to pump out 10 more ponies to take final output to 650hp, although there are no apparent increases in performance with the 0-100km/h time remaining at 3.4 seconds, top speed is still 340km/h.

Funny thing is, the 70.000$ GTR is not slower than this! But I understand people wjo buy Reventon, they can afford GTR too. And look at this Lambo, it's passion, italian flair and looks! True italian supercar.
watch the video, then let's weigh the facts and opinions aside...what's already been made clear... it's clearly apples to oranges, boys.
Consider the following discertation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_GT-R referencing the section on Performance, Para. 3.
Lap times equalling a 430 Scuderia.
Still not impressed? "With a manufacturer claimed lap time of 7:29 min on standard Japanese market tires, the GT-R is currently one of the fastest production cars to lap the Nürburgring circuit"
Stock tires... now I don't know about many of you, but I doubt I can shoe my Reventon down at the local tire shop.
