Mustang GT Convertible picked up in Iowa

Milestones come and go, but not often does a single model reach its nine millionth. The Ford Mustang did and a farmer from Story City, Iowa will be its owner. Farmer Thomas Krumm became interested in Mustangs through his daughter who bought her first 'Stang when she was 17. "Having been a Mustang fanatic my entire life, I couldn't be more excited that my dad is receiving the 9 millionth Mustang," said Rachael Krumm.

The Ford Mustang is the marques longest running model, it was first introduced on April 17 1964 at the New York World's Fair. "Mustang is an icon, and the 9 millionth Mustang is a milestone we're very proud of," said Fritz Wilke, Mustang Brand Manager.

It is just a matter of time before the Mustang hits 10 million (10 in 2010?) and we can't wait to see what kind of special edition Ford will have in store for us then.
