The unveiling of the BMW M1 Homage design study has really got the world talking, will the German manufacturer create a successor to the legendary M1 supercar? At the moment we are all left guessing the true intentions for the M1, but clearly the M1 Homage is a step in the right direction for a full production model. The attention the M1 Homage has been receiving has been immense that we saw it fit to post not, one, but two videos and just yesterday a very nice photoshop surfaced on the web courtesy of Dutch designer “H0SS “.

Now we believe it is time for a trip down memory lane, the video above shows the original M1 supercar (street version) in the orange livery racing round the world famous Nurburgring - and we do mean “racing”, you will see hear what we mean in the video. Keep watching until the end for a short beauty footage clip and check out the additional high-res photos.

Yeah! that Hoss guy is damn good. If he was picked by BMW, he can really do what the other car makers are doing - and that is stealing design ideas from other car makers and coming up with what one can loosely call a master piece as is evident with Mr Hoss photo chop (man that was hot hot!!. BMW really needs a new angle of design coz we the fans and followers have started to feel deflated what with Merc and Audi have recently launched hot looking cars and it's time for BMW to just come up with a stunning M1 as a launch pad to the rebirth of "sheer driving pleasure".

i dont know why you would want the new m1 to have the same succes as the old one, because the old one was a complete desaster, it was much more expencive than ferraris of its time and sold in very low numbers

Its not just about the financial success its about what the M1 represents, a Mid-engined BMW Supercar as well as its decent showings on the race tracks in the form of the F1 LM.

why is it that the original guigaro turbo is still the most convincing statement and design? I love it!
