it's called a facelift not a redesign. They just alter certain elements from the front of the automobile, and a few details from the back to accentuate those changes at the front to give it an updated look. The A3's front and rear are very different from those of the previous A3, if you pay attention to detail....

If you compare it to the current A6...and If you know how to pay attention to detail...you can tell that it is a facelift. Look at the lights and front bumper...after all...what does the front of a car consist of. doh...

I think it looks good, however I think the white colour of this car may be hiding most of the details. Its hard to make out the LEDs and new lines etc with the very bright white. Will the interior be the same or updated as well?

c´mon, let´s get serious, it looks so bare that it cannot even be called a facelift. i would not make free promotion of things like these... i´m get more facelifted when i change my underwear....

Interior will most likely remain the same. However, they may introduce new interior trim.

The A6 has never been audi's best looking car. when you take a look at the A3, A4 and the A8 especially. but hey! that's just one guy talking

They obviously have the resourses to create a much more substantial change. Maybe customer research has determined the look. Any way, the avant could certainly accomadate one of Chas and Dave's sideboards, so I think it will be a big success
