Okay, so it looks a bit generic and it's not going to be as well engineered as Bugatti, but if they can take the record then good on them.

yeah i agree with u abugatti and radmeister... its not just about how much is the power, but the most important thing is balance... how the car can manage the power, the grip, power ratio, weight distribution. comfort and fun to drive.. and also the exclusivity for a supercar..great look, nice shape, last but not least, it has its own characteristic...

I think the proper engine tuning, suspension tuning and aerodynamics the car will be relatively capable of handling its power just fine. Guys you have to remember, the Bugatti Veyron is the only car in that class that can do 400KMPH that easy and that is in thanks to many computers that take over for the driver. The rest take some skill to drive. but remember the SSC ultimate aero has the highest speed record to be clear and the record in question was done/driven in by a 60+ year old..im sure he had skill but with age comes slower reflexes, meaning if he can do it with proper training and practice, so can we or at least some of us regular joes.

hmm... might I say, reincarnated Barabus TKR? But as to the engine choices, the skr sounds reliable, but a twin turbo'd ls7 with 1500hp is far from reliable... there is a reason why chevy chose their 6.2 liter to put in the zr1 rather then the ls7... it's cause the cylinder walls can't with stain constant forced induction... they are soo close together. Also, wasn't the barabus tkr claiming ridiculous 0-60 times of 1.67s, and a top speed of 270 mph?

dont much like the design. by the way, what actually happened to the barabus tkr?

I dont see his car reaching that speed with that big a$$ spoiler on it. Unless they lower it or take it off, and if they take it off it wont be stable. I think it has design issues and it wont be as stable as the bug. In order to get stability you need more weight, and if you have more weight you wont be agile so this car is pointless. I would rather a track car that i can run when ever i want rather than one i can run only if i can find a long straight without bumps which is only in one place in the world.

i think there are still so many people who dont get the idea of the veyron. this car is a specialist car. beating the veyron with a special one off single purpose supecars is really getting stale and weak.

Exactly!!! The Bug is a everyday car. This car is a car with no electric windows or even retractable ones for that matter......anyone can throw a motor in a car and do wind tunnel tests. The trick is usability and driver friendly components that don't make the driver wanting a massage and a gallon of water after 10 minutes. This is another race car, not in the same class at all.

I just realized 1190 kg... with steel chassis/fiberglass... hmm what is it going to weigh with Carbon Fiber Body/Frame?
