Carrozzeria Touring Bellagio Fastback to Debut at Villa dEste 2008
Carrozzeria Touring Bellagio Fastback

Based on Maserati Quattroporte

The Maserati Quattroporte is already a stunning vehicle with a powerful and elegent presence. Milan based coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring has taken the design a step further with a wagon version called, the Bellagio Fastback. To some, the fastback design adds a sleek new persona along the lines of a bespoke luxury estate such as a shootingbrake type vehicle but with four doors. Carrozeria Touring is set to debut the Bellagio in addition to a new sportscar under the Supperleggera name.

Recently StudioM also presented a Quatroporte Shootingbrake project named Cinqueporte but nothing in full scale has surfaced yet.

That ctually looks OK, although it is barely more practical than the saloon.

Practical schmactical. I reckon the saloon is pretty damned cool. This wagon doesn't look as good to my eye though it's not too bad in itself and you must allow it's certainly better looking than ANY Bristol from the last 30 years.

Well there was also the Fiat Marema - a gorgeous 1974 design study on the super-elegent Fiat 130 Coupé. Hard to find a good photo but here's an OK one. http://books.google.co.nz/books?id=4Cvq4NggsUkC&pg=PA156&lpg=PA156&dq=fiat+maremma&source=web&ots=I5HxxiVCLQ&sig=_o9a4gdR-ZbZmopcGLtpgFgDUpw&hl=en#PPA157,M1

Carrozzeria Touring is a prestigious name among traditional italian designers/coachbuilders, this certainly looks much better and integrated than the improvised cinqueporte project.

i don't why people buy Wagons they are expensive and they don't look good ... SUVS are better i believe

they dont look good? come on, most of the time they are classier and sleeker than their sedan counterparts.. suvs means more weight, worse gas mileage, more pollution, worse handling, heavier design, etc. so unless youre going to use its offroad capabilities + ground clearance (which happens nearly 10% of the time if ever) you're better off with a premium wagon.. sure, i didnt mention insecure ppl with inferiority complex lol

I think it looks great. I love the Infiniti EX thing going on with the rear glass and D-pillar. The wheels look good, and they're throw-backs to the 80's.

I'm a totally Quattroporte-Fan and this is good. Maybe not perfect, 'cause the proportions aren't made for a Wagon, but the best way for making such an interpretation of a "shooting break" I like the Wheels - not the best for a 4porte - but I like them ;) Please build only one of it and give it to me hehe
