it looks like a shrunken q7... in my books the bmw x3 comes 3rd then this and then the mercedes benz glk... but i really do love the audi grill!

I am in love. It's perfect, I just hope it's launched in the UK by the time my lease ends of my current car at the end of October! I was going to get a Freelander 2, but this is PERFECT.

autocar had a very slightly photoshopped photo which showed what the Q5 looked like months ago. not my favourite audi (that place is reserved for the RS4) but much better looking than the hippo that is the Q7!!

Nice, but sideview reminds me somehow of the Infiniti FX50, and Mercedes GLK's dashboard looks much better than this. Had expected more insolence so to speak, only the backlights are innovating :|

Better than the X3, even better than the GLK also, but SUVs with that size make no sense anyway. Audi A4 please. Better yet, the Sirocco, slithly tuned.

I'm not sure it will have the lasting desire that it needs at this price range. With one of Audi's great diesels it could be really nice. Why bother with a gasoline (petro for you who hail from "proper economies")version? These won't beat a larger SUV (ute) in economy enough to warrant the sacrifices. They won't have the handling and driving pleasure of the an A4.

I think SUVs of this size have a huge market, particularly here in the UK and Europe, to compete with the new Volvo XC60 et al. Many people don't need 7 seats, I'm a university student and could never justify the behemoth that is the Q7, this is a happy medium between my current A3 Sportback and the Q7. It's also an SUV you can drive without the environ-mentals pelting your car with stones because you've killed a polar bear.

I don't know if you guys remember but Audi should resurect the Steppenwolf project. I think it was the best design which got stolen by Infinity FX 350. I like this one too especialy new LED's headlights.

I dont really like the back. It doesnt match to the rest of the car. Its also strange, that they use the rectangular front lights again. In general its a nice car, but I think Volvo XC60 looks much more interesting.

Been watching new hi-res pics on another site, and the finish looks outstanding, quite better than the Tiguan which is average (hard plastics). In gun metal gray it's especially attractive.
