Most people would consider the new Audi A4 Avant sporty enough, but not the folks over at Abt Sportsline in Allgäu, Germany, premier tuner for all Volkswagen Group cars.
Abt has taken the new A4 Avant, which debuted at last months Geneva Motor Show, and fitted a new front skirt to emphasize the contours of the estate's front, new side skirts and in the rear added a roof spoiler, rear skirt and Abt's trademark four-pipe exhaust system.
But as we all know too well, this is not where Abt stops. Christian Abt, company founder and successful race car driver, has a few suspension options ready for his customers, he recommends the Abt adjustable sports suspension.
Power upgrades tweak the 1.8 liter TSI to 200 hp or 240 hp from its stock 160 hp output. The diesel engine is capable of max 310 hp with 610 Nm of torque with Abt's Power S package while the Power Package reaches a very respectable 282 hp instead of the stock 240 hp. Abt's braking system will put this practical sporty family hauler to a stop again.
