Set to arrive as a 2009 model in the fall of 2008, the next generation Honda Pilot gets its official introduction on April 15 according to spy sources. Previously, Honda showed an almost production ready version of the Pilot in Detroit with slightly larger dimensions, awkwardly husky styling, three full-size rows of seating, 3.5-liter V6 engine with cylinder deactivation and a stiffer full unibody inner structure for improved towing capacity.
Going off a tip, spy photographers in California managed to find a small group of undisguised Pilots just moments before they were to be loaded in enclosed car carrier trucks.
