The eccentric German specialty marque Wiesmann has told GTSpirit.com during a factory visit that they plan to reveal roadster versions of their GT MF4 and GT MF5 cars at next year's Geneva Motor Show.
Until then, the only Wiesmann roadster is their popular GT MF3. The MF3 Roadster is powered by BMW's 3.2 liter inline 6 engine putting 343 horses to the road. The Wiesmann GT MF4 takes power one step further with BMW's 4.8 liter V8 engine producing 367 hp while the new top-of-the-range Wiesmann GT MF5 is powered by BMW's 507 hp 5.0 liter V10 engine.
Of course the introduction of the two more powerful Wiesmann roadsters will not effect the GT MF3 Roadster production. All three roadster will be produced side-by-side.
Finally, some bad news for the US since Wiesmann cars will not be sold across the pond anytime in the near future. This is due to the bad exchange rate, and high costs of having Wiesmann cars tested, adjusted and approved for US roads.
