To debut at Beijing
Nissan will indeed be expanding its Chinese line-up at the upcoming 2008 Auto China in Beijing, or so states a Chinese press release on the 2008 Auto China motor show pages. On top of this, Nissan China has released a teaser image of what can only be the production version of the Nissan Intima Concept. The press release mentions nothing about the name but does label the car as Nissan's new flagship model in China.
Earlier this week the new flagship was photographed by Autoblog China, which sparked the rumor that the Intima Concept was indeed headed to China. But the images were of very low quality and revealed only parts of the rear.
Alongside this mysterious new flagship model, Nissan will be showing their PIVO 2 Concept (Chinese debut) and the NV200 Concept van. The almost 2,000 square meter stand will be filled with the remaining Nissan models like the 350Z and Livina range.
Stay tuned for the world debut later this month.
