Surely the Mini brand could adequately cover this end of the market? As I have said before, the Mini Spiritual concept was just this kind of car.

Looks like it still has the Smart stock rims on it. The logo could be guessed looking at the 2nd picture.
The back is O.K. imho, but the front would be awfully strange for a BMW. And with its flame surfacing looks it gives the impression of a toy car.
Try a different approach... I usually like the Lehmann stuff.

Isetta looks very unique for sure and I can only say so because it was back 50s and 60s. If you like recent BMW's design trend, this body design shall look hideous as hell. I would sell it with a different name and badge to compete with Tata in India.

instead of launching a pseudo isetta which never will reach the uniqueness and the beauty of the original, bmw could make the big mini smaller and lighter ? and more affordable.

lets hope for 2 things here,
one that the lehmann renderings are way off the real thing and the other that Bemmer is more sucessfull with their city idea than with the C1 roofed scooter they stopped producing a couple years ago, despite the fact that ist was legal to ride without helmet, for europe that was unusual.
