Yeah it does look pretty cool, but alas it's just an artists rendering. Ford will never allow it to go in to production looking like that. Their lack of willingness to make it an awd. Shows that they're not really committed to this project, and they're not concerned with the enthusiasts group.

of course it would look pretty much like that, you obviously arent familiar with ford europe designs, and why would you need awd which only means added weight, when its going to have the best suspension set up in its class (where none are awd, btw = clio rs, corsa opc, ibiza fr...) and most likely a limited slip diff

*sigh....we i do hope they will offer awd in the future future....sure they can win but i think the whole appeal of a small hot ford is from its rally culture. Its one of the few things that a lot of people respect from ford. For me...with a canadian winter, awd is never a bad thing, even with the added weight

of course awd would be nice. but take a look around: no one has awd in this class. because of the weight, the cost and the balance. if you tried for example the clio rs you'll know that awd is not missed there.

its about time the US got some small car loving. if a renault clio 197, alfa mi.to or even this were sold in the states it would be in my driveway right now
