Great looking packaging. I thought the old 2.0 l was a decent power plant but I would have opted for the V6. With this version of the 2.0 l, I'll reserve judgment until after a test drive; esp, since the Germans seem to deliver these engines with V6 performance at I4 economy, unlike many Japanese that deliver the V6 performance and a V6 economy... which is not worth it.

Oh, and for anyone making comparisons to the BMW. Remember that in US, the 3-wagon only comes as 328 which only has 200 lb-ft torque. Performance would match the outgoing 2008 A4 2.0 turbo at a substantial discount. With the new Audi engine, BMW either needs to do something drastic to compete with the '09 A4 Avant.
