Scion said they did "trend research" in the US & Japan but what they didn't say it was on monkeys at the zoo and not humans.

It's not for me but I think it's interesting.
It's not beautiful, but has character.
Heck, it's a concept, concepts are supposed to break the boundaries. This ones does, so I say thumbs up.

Trend research as only ever worked once..aka the mustang...this is just a disproportional mound of marketings idea of what design should be. Please leave the job to designers we know what we are doing!

The Mustang is, in your mind, the only instance where trend research has worked? Is it possible perchance you're mistaken? I mean, yes, it was a largely successful, early example, but definitely not the only one. Trend research has spawned entire vehicle classes, not just individual models. I would think a designer like yourself to be a little more open-minded.

I didn't bother reading the article; this is a really, really ugly car full stop -- concept or not. Why would anyone bother with attempting a Japanese-American fusion concept car? American culture and Japanese culture are so incredibly insoluble you'd have better luck dissolving a kidney stone with Kool-Aid.

Who told the designer that this piece of Sh*t look good...It looks like a Orange Hulk...

When your only soul is nasty ergonomics this is the best you can get with creativity.

The wrap into the roof windshield is a good idea for the rest of their appliances. This has to be a much better 50% of your field of vision than are the headliner and sun visors. Popularity just isn't where it's at.

One thing I like about this car; how there is one glass panel wrapping around the whole upper part of the car after the windshield. But think of how think the A pillars are. I have never seen that done before..hopefully it will work out? The rest is just plain crap.

this car is like a fetus that had a will to live and pulled it off. Seriously can't they think outside the box and have style not just think outside the box and make visual diarrhea.
