Ooooh I get the design now, and the appeal. They are making it square because that shape has traditionally been considered unattractive, and they want to revolutionize the industry... or simply to release a design so dramatically different from its competition people will buy it, if only to be different. The being different also would apply to why they didn't add that last pillar... after all, who would want a symmetric car? lol

its anti car design in a way. it shouldnt be taken "seriously". its all about having fun with shapes i guess. at least it shows Nissans breadth of creativity from the Cube to the GTR. thinking outside of the "box" if you like.....

This is an iPod-inspired style of beauty overlayed on basic Nissan Cube. Well I remind everyone that Nissan Cube has been in the market with this cubic design for 7 years. If you wanna buy one they're sold damn cheap out there in Japan.
