everything is perfect... red interior looks sick, front is fine, side is fine...the rear though??? WHY BMW... WHY would you use those lights instead of the new redesigned ones??? strange... if it was for "subtleness" and a more "sleeper" kind of look they really have done it this time... id get the 2 door any day just because of these lights

yeah everything is perfect! the Red interior is great and I like the idea using the Sedan Rear in the M3 Sedan...why using the Coupe Rear?? it's a good idea from BMW! and I'm ok with those lights...I don't know why u hate them!

I feel the same way. They did so well with the coupe and conv. Rear tail lights look amazing, I thought when they changed the coupe's lights different from the sedan it was amazing and well thought out and looks good with the overall shape and idea of the car, but the only problem i say is the sedan's rear tail lights HORRIBLE, at least have the descency to change it on the M3 Sedan!!!

I agree with carcrazy. BMW jacked up the rear on both the coupes and sedans. At least in the sedan you can clear out the nasty extra red on the top corner of the rear tail lights. In the coupe though... you just gotta close your eyes and not look at them.

i think the coupe is perfect in design. the rear is great. the sedan def has rear issues.

I'd agree with all you guys...I think the rear taillights are horrible on the coupe and sedan, but I'd even take it one further...I've been an avid BMW fanatic for as long as I can remember, but there recent designs are killing me...I think the front and rear overhangs are far too big, and the cars are too long in general. The E46 M3 had much smaller overhangs, especially in the front, and it added to it's athletic look. Also, the body line that runs through the door handle/handles, would look much better if it ran parallel to the belt line, rather than sloping downward...just my 2 cents...All that said though, and design aside, the cars are amazing and I'd be happy to own any of them

It beats me, who designed the E46, previous 5 series and 1st X5? this designer did a much better job than this joker who keeps on feeding funny lights front and rear on the new models. This guy is killing this brand pray they do not lose the dynamics and engine guys coz then they be dead. They really mus assess the design and get back on line.

In the US it starts at 53,800$ fully optioned out 66,770$, that is 26,529.50 GBP start and 32,925.18 GBP loaded. That is half the price... If i lived in europe i would be looking at buying cars in the US and shipping them over.

And in the U.S. dealers are adding up to a $30 000 markup in some cases radmeister...not as rosy as it seems at first glance. It's ridiculous

Yeah thats what happened with the Mustang GT500 but that was because first year they had a low production # and they were hard to come by. My dad's friend had to pay an extra 20K over MRSP to get his R8 this spring instead of next. I got a quote recently for a 335xi Coupe fully loaded to the tits 54k and change, but a 1 month wait time. When the M3 vibe cools of by next winter you will be able to get it for sticker price and with a reasonable delivery time.

Oh yeah i meant to ask what happened to the carbon fiber roof and the mirrors we saw on the pre-release M3? Are they saving that stuff for the CSL?

You can get the carbon fiber roof if you don't go for the sunroof.
