407 km/h on an air field? I don't think so. And the Bugatti is a daily driver (not calculating the runing costs) Another turbocharged, no-handling, no set-up monster. Like dozens before. Not impressed.

Yes, this does all sound a bit far fetched. there aren't too many runways in the UK capable of supporting such speeds - Bruntingthorp is one of the longest and Evo magazine "only" managed 222mph in a 9ff GT9. Boscombe Down is longer at 3.2km I think, but is that enough space to get to over 250mph?
