Maserati Releases Video of GranTurismo S in Motion
See How This Machine Behaves
Seeing a car in good pictures is always a pleasure. Knowing it is powered by a V8 4.7-litre engine that pumps out 440 cv is also great, but watching such a machine in motion, and hear the V8 roar, is always more appealing. Thank God internet is the only means of communication that can bring you all these possibilities, and thank Maserati it has shot such a nice video of its newest creation, the GranTurismo S.
In the video, beside all details that pictures may have already shown you in the articles we have published, you can also see the car in nice European roads (if you recognize them, tell us which one is that, we’d love to get there someday) and how the electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-Shift behaves when the driver touches the shifter pads behind the wheel. We may also know brakes are very efficient, since they were developed with Brembo people’s help, but this is not the pedal we want to see anyone pressing in a car like this one.
Not many people (proportionally to the amount of World Car Fans) will be able to get behind the wheel of such a nice piece of machinery, but we can have a good idea on how that must feel in this video. Be sure we will tell you how it is when we get the chance to test drive this car. Let’s hope it to be soon!

Very nice grand touring car, but is it worth buying new? I don't think so, Maseratis have a tendency to depreciate drastically. The car looks great and sounds even better, but if i had to go for a GT car in that price range i would opt out for the CL65 or Continental GT.
noooo... you just ruined my image of this car. If it's competing with the Continental GT, I would take the GT over this. I won't comment on the CL65 though.
Screw the CL and the continental GT....DBS all the way. Altho I really love this car, this engine really dissapoints me. Anyway, I like this car but I wanna say something that even I think its not true just because im on acids right now.
if this came with a V-12 id consider it... otherwise its only a beautiful LOOKING car that is overweight with a small engine that can't handle its weight!... even the designer of this car said that he would have a put a V-12 in it... id buy a GT or a lighter DBS over this
Bernardo/Carcrazy, the DBS isn't in the same category as it is not a grand tourer, it is not a 2+2 if i am not mistaken it is only a 2 seater sports car. So you cant really compare them.
Video by Pontiac.
But otherwise, looking forward to a Spyder version so we can hear the exhaust even better.
What a beauty! This car is so beautiful....kicks the CL's ugly ass. Than again...there is the Continental GT....hmmm....tough call
Continental GT ain't got nothing on this car, the only car that's anywhere close is the 8C Competizione
You mean in the breakdown category? The Continental is solid like a brick, this is a show off car for italian wanna be mobsters to drive their moms to church on sunday. Wont last past 100,000km without having to invest what you paid for it in repairs, same with the alfa.
