Wow what a change from the last generation........wait no it looks just like it except a refreshed grill. That car was such a hit it must have been popular for about 6 months ! doesn't come close to a 3 series coupe. Well done Mercedes!

for that price one would probably take a 3 dr a200 cdi or petrol over this. if i had to chose, it would be the bmw 1-series.

This can't compete with the BMW 3series Coupe or the Audi A5. Where is the Design? Where is that special something that a Coupe needs?

Are you serious, guys? THis thing isn't suppose to compete with the 3series coupe, nor the A5. This is more like 130i/S3 territory.

i think it rather competes the 1-series and a3, but it doesn't come close even to them

Yeah, it competes with the Audi A3 and BMW 1 series. I like this better than the A3, less than the 1 series. I like it.

Wasn't the B series designed to compete with the 1 series? Either way the CLC is about as unpleasent as spending a romantic evening with Rosie O'Donnel

B-Class is an MPV, 1 Series is an hatch. How can you compare those two??? Anyway, CLC is a direct competitor for Audi A3 3Door and BMW 1 Series 3door variants. Even there, it doesn't stand a chance. A3 2.0 TFSI or S3 and the 123d / 130i are all astonishing cars. Sorry Merc, you should try harder...

The B-Class is a compact MPV, the same as a Scénic, a Picasso or a C-Max. But it's much more expensive than them, even than a Touran. That's why its sales remain rather low.

wow! i think that the rear looks really UGLY! they hav made it worse than wat it was b4... and that is a hard thing 2 do!

Second picture: the woman who tries to open the door. That's the kind of people who buy this UGLY car.

just a recycled C-class for people who have absolutely no taste for cars. I guess its profitable for Mercedes but I don't understand why Mercedes keeps coming up with crap like this the GL and the GLK. They should focus on improving their higher end cars to preserve the integrity of the brand. Otherwise, a Mercedes might become just as common as a Toyota. This brand isn't what it was say about 10 years ago.

merc has lost the plot. the whole new square range is too ugly and too reminiscent of their cousin chrysler. for everyone complained about bangle changing bimmers style, once everyone got used to it they started to appreciate it. merc knew they were in trouble so they had to do something radical to keep up with bmw and the new kid on the block, audi. sadly, while bangle brought bimmer the controversial good looks of eva green, merc just tried to hit the botox on a faded hero

Well it's an update of a cheap car that MB should probably stop making, if they didn't sell so many to 'ladies who lunch'... so it probably the perfect shopping car. The BMW 3series hatch is just as foul.
