beyond cool, I may have to re think my SL 63 order now, if the SLK would only get keyless go my world would be comlete

Mercedes has this "modular roof structure" thing down. Do they offer it in the W204?

Well, let's see...we've tried putting stupid power into our cars, and we're still slower around a track than BMW...What can we do to even things up a bit? I know, let's put a glass roof in an SLK...that'll show em'. No, I kid Mercedes, they are always on the forefront of the most absolutely useless innovations. It's a good thing for MB, though, that they don't build driver's cars, because if this thing actually produced any power the "extra-delicate" glass roof would probably shatter under a hard launch...well done!

Yeah, so the ABS that saved your a** last week, and the ESP that will save you tommorrow, and the airbag/ seatbelt pre-tensioner that will save your life next week are all useless innovations... Thats only 3! Its too many for me to even try and name them all!

Don't get me wrong...I think at one time Mercedes was amazing...Your list of safety features was a good one, but somewhat dated...not to mention if you don't want the car driving for you, you turn most of that stuff off...and by off i mean OFF...which Mercedes has just recently realized the meaning of

Pre-Safe, the CAN, the MOST ring, Active Body Control, the Adaptive Lighting System, Brake Assist... I dont want to sound like a company sponsor or anything, but you gotta give credit where its due.

I wonder if its going to have a slider cover like the SL's do so you dont have the bearing down on you all the time? I hope so...
