BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW Debuts at Geneva
BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW

Starting at 348,000 Euros

For the few individuals who thought the Mercedes AMG C 63 with 457 hp and 600 Nm of torque wasn't enough, Brabus has the answer. The company will use the Geneva Auto Show to introduce their C-Class based Bullit Black Arrow. Powered by a Brabus biturbo V12 that produces 720 horsepower and 974 ft-lbs of torque, the car takes 3.9 seconds to get from 0-62 mph while top speed is greater than 225 mph.

Other performance upgrades to the Black Arrow include a modified five speed transmission, a locking rear differential, aerodynamic enhancements, improved brakes, and an adjustable rear suspension. The car also has an aluminum hood with ventilation slots and Brabus wheels fitted with high-performance tires.

On the inside leather covers virtually everything, while custom sport seats with carbon fiber rear covers add a sporty feel. Carbon fiber trim has also been applied to the center console, doors, and dashboard.

Distinguishing the Bullit Black Arrow from last year’s Bullit is a special matte-black exterior. Pricing starts at 348,000 Euros and cars will be built on demand.

BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW

The Four-Door V12 Biturbo Stealth Super Sports Car
With 730 hp (720 hp SAE net), 1,320 Nm (974 lb-ft), 0 – 300 km/h (186 mph) in 24.5 seconds and a Top Speed of More than 360 km/h (225 mph)

Ultra powerful, ultra fast and conspicuously inconspicuous: The four-door stealth super sports car BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW offers performance superlatives like no other car on the market: The basis for the car is the body of the new C-Class sedan, covered with a special matte-black coating. The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo twelve-cylinder engine was dropped into the engine bay with almost surgical precision. Performance is staggering: 3.9 seconds from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph), 24.5 seconds for 0 – 300 km/h (186 mph) and a top speed of more than 360 km/h (225 mph). BRABUS produces the BULLIT BLACK ARROW in small-series production starting at 348,000 Euros MSRP.

The BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW ensures that the world’s fastest sedans continue to come from Bottrop. The BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW follows in the footsteps of the 330-km/h (206 mph) BRABUS E V12 based on the W 210-series Mercedes E-Class, the 350.2-km/h (219 mph) E V12 Biturbo of the new W 211 generation and the world’s current fastest sedan, the 365.7- km/h (227.2 mph) BRABUS ROCKET based on the Mercedes CLS.

Numerous modifications to the reinforced body were necessary to install the turbocharged V12 engine in the C-Class engine bay. The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo engine is derived directly from the BRABUS ROCKET and uses the latest Mercedes S 600 engine that has been completely reworked in the company-own engine building shop.

Nothing beats displacement except even more displacement: A crankshaft with longer stroke, larger cylinder bore, and special pistons and piston rods increase displacement of the twelve-cylinder three-valve engine from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.).

Cylinder heads optimized for faster gas exchange and high-performance camshafts also contribute to the increase in power output. They are assisted by a more efficient dual turbocharging system, special manifolds, larger turbochargers and larger intercoolers. Because of space constraints in the C-Class body an entirely new stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with low back-pressure metal catalysts had to be developed.

The BRABUS motor engineers used state-of-the-art engine test benches to program new mapping for engine electronics and on-board diagnostics. The new mapping ensures optimal power yield while meeting strict EURO IV emission limits.

The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo displacement engine, lubricated like all BRABUS high-performance engines with ARAL Synthetic motor oil, produces 730 hp (720 hp SAE net) / 537 kW at just 5,100 rpm. The peak torque of 1,320 Nm (974 lb-ft) is limited in-car electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a reinforced five-speed automatic transmission and a BRABUS limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent. Customers can choose from two final drive ratios. The BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW features all modern driving dynamics systems such as ABS, ASR and ESP.

The matte-black stealth street rocket delivers unique performance: Just 3.9 seconds pass for the sprint from 0 - 100 km/h (62 mph), 200 km/h (124 mph) is reached after just 10.49 seconds. And after just 24.5 seconds the car shatters the 300-km/h barrier (186 mph). Top speed is more than 360 km/h (225 mph).

At these speeds favorable aerodynamic properties are absolutely essential. The BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW was honed to perfection in the wind tunnel. The BULLIT front apron features large air ducts to supply cooling air for radiators and front brakes. Its sophisticated design further reduces lift on the front axle. Its aerodynamic counterparts in the rear are a three-piece rear spoiler and a rear apron with integrated diffuser. Both front and rear aprons are made from especially light yet highly robust autoclave-baked carbon fiber.

A wider track optimizes directional stability so elementary at speeds beyond 300 km/h. The BRABUS designers have styled aluminum wheel arch flares for front and rear axle. They are seamlessly melded to the production body and add six centimeters (2.4 inches) to the C-Class width. BRABUS rocker panels optimize the airstream along the sides. They also feature integrated entry lights that make entering and exiting the vehicle safer in the dark.

The visual appearance of the BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW is further characterized by the new aluminum hood. Its integrated ‘gills’ are not just distinctive features, they also ensure the engine’s thermal health.

The wheel arch flares provide space for especially wide matte-black BRABUS Monoblock S light-alloy wheels with high-performance tires from technology partners YOKOHAMA or Pirelli. The 9.5Jx19 wheels on the front axle are shod with size 265/30 ZR 19 tires. The rear axle is fitted with size 10Jx19 wheels and size 285/30 ZR 19 tires.

The height-adjustable coil-over suspension was developed specifically for the BRABUS BULLIT BLACK ARROW. The gas-pressure shocks feature ten selectable settings each for bound and rebound. They provide a sporty yet comfortable ride and safe handling in any situation. Sport stabilizers reduces body roll to a minimum during fast cornering.

The BRABUS high-performance brake system can handle even the most extreme stress. It features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the front axle that grip vented and grooved 380 x 37 millimeter (15 x 1.46 inches) brake discs. The rear axle stops with 360 x 28 millimeter (14.2 x 1.1 inches) discs and six-piston aluminum fixed calipers.

Exclusive individuality also abounds in the interior of the BRABUS automobile: The standard equipment package includes a fully leather interior hand-crafted in the company-own upholstery shop from the finest Mastik and Nubuk leathers.

The custom BULLIT seats offer a perfect combination of comfort and lateral support. Their carbon-fiber rear covers lend the interior an especially sporty feel. This look is complemented by carbon-fiber components on dashboard, center console and door panels as well as by the ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals and shifter.

This is about as mad as the person claiming they can eliminate the Ebola virus using koalas and toothpaste. I think Clarkson already proved 507hp was too much power for the C-Class! And now they've slotted in a 720hp juicer? Even Sparta doesn't play host to such madness.

Developing an AWD system (maybe an evolution of Mercedes' 4Matic system) might be beneficial for Brabus. I don't imagine they have much of a hard time selling their cars, but it's been clearly shown two drive wheels are easily overwhelmed by the power they're producing with this 6.3L bi-turbo V12. Electronic limits are, after all, a completely unacceptable form of reigning-in wild horses.

There they go again, M3 Bashing. My word this car M3 has really messed up your world gents, it's a car you love to hate, just like Muhammad Ali, Shumie, Lewis Maradona and all the world greatest were hated for there success. Oh i forgot to mention Tiger Woods and Roger Federer too - world beaters pipo have grown to hate. Merc may make a car with abnormal power but as it has proven again and again, their cars are only quicker on the Dyno. Put them to test on the track and they suck as does Audi too. A classic example is the SL 65 AMG - V12 BI turbo. This car was licked by the M6 at the 100 m and quater mile sprint. Merc cars are busy farting at take off's whilst the opposition is already carcking the precious metres. how sad.

ok for everyone who doesnt know already should know now. Mercedes Benz is NOT i repeat NOT a luxury automaker anymore. Consider this, in the last 4 - 6 years weve seen AMG create a vast vast amount of high performance cars, infact they have more high performance vehicles than anyone 2 major car manufacturers. mercedes is more about sport and speed than bmw is i mean bmw has 3 "fast" cars whilst mercedes has around 10, not including the slr. o and btw a SL65 AMG smokes the m5 and m6 sooo badly its not even a race go look at the stats on em both and tell me otherwise. and FYI the clk black series outhandles any BMW.

i wonder when the power overload will stop. They just keep jamming more and more HP in cars..... it is just a HP war! U will never use the car's potential unless u have a race track.

No, i'm an Aston Martin salesman, but i do give credit where it's due like on the RS6 avant which falls in the brand your worship kevo. The truth of the matter is that every RS6 or E63/65 AMG will build their car to compete directly with the M5, The same teams will build an RS4 or C63/65 AMG to try and unsettle the mighty M3 (M3 CSL avoided like the plague - several classes above the rest), The same groups again go out and try to build an A class, soon to be built A1 and now a Fiat 500 and some small Alpha aimed at bringing the MINI to it's knees. Guess what kevo it's not a coincidence that their target is BMW. Simply put we all try to beat the best in the class. BMW.

Ha-ha-ha....You wish! What about the S-class? For a 2005 the sells of W221 are always with 90000 per year pieces more than the 7series and A8 altogether.Who is the king now ;) ? You are jealous looser .... like every BMW fan :P

hahaha you people are funny. Who really cares if a merc has 700hp. Seriously, MB cars look uninspired, depressing, and boring all at the same time. I was at a car show and the floor was packed with people, and honestly the MB exhibit had half as many people walking through it then any other exhibit (cept for kia of course). But as for beamers, they finally came out of the dark ages for design and actually look like a sporty luxury car (ahh thats what it is, MB forgets to add a sporty look to there cars). But it still comes to the point that if I could afford MB, I would buy two or three other cars instead, mix it up a little go just luxury/reliability in one and go just stripped down performance in the other.

i think this car is rather pointless. why would you drop all that cash, and waste all that horsepower, when the Mercedes AMG C 63 does the job just fine. and with the cash you save, you can buy a serious sports gt for the weekend.

You will never hear a Merc exec compare there car to Audi as it does not at all mention Audi in the same way as it mentions BMW. They always compare there cars to BMW and Your cheap masked Jettas or VW's always mention BMW and not Merc. Like it or not Both Merc and Audi fear BMW. If at all you read widely on tests across the world especially here in the high altitude area, the Merc SL 65 AMG was embarassed at the tests. They used a racing veteran by the name of Sarel Van to test a Porsche 911 turbo, M3, RS4, R8, M6, Zonda, SL65 AMG and a few others. The test grounds was at an old airport (just like in nTop Gear). Oh by the way the slowst car was the RS4 and this is the car that he was least impressed with (fong kong engineering)On the M3 he said that this is the car he would love to recieve as a christmas present and he calle it a pure racers car. The SL 65 AMG he called it a car that can't handle it's power and is only good to drive in a straight line (why make a train when they are trains already), The M6 he compared to the M3 and was so impressed with it's award winning V10. What Audi fans have in common with Merc is a pain in their necks in the name of BMW. Deny it as much as you can, the truth of the matter is BMW oevrtook Merc donkey years ago and Audi is no where near. So Audi has first got to beat Merc before getting in the ring with BMW. Merc besides is car that is hanging on to it's past glory as a car with class coz the last time i checked Merc has included alot of Tupperware materials (plastic) in the cabin. Wake up and smeel the coffee...once beaten twice shy.BMW rules.

Kevo, tae out your pen and start taking stats on how many times they mention BMW and not Merc. Is it to say that Merc is wither streets ahead of Audi or that it is not a worthy competitor? Examples are Audi launches M5 eater in form of the RS6 V10 bi turbo. Trust me despite the biturbos you'll be disapointed that your car may still lose to the M5 (ask Merc 65AMG, V12 - supercharged calimed 0 -100 in 4.4 secs - they failed to mention that tis stat is on a dyno and not on a track). 2. RS4 released and immediately targets a 6 cylinder, 3.2 litre 2002 car - yes the M3 and not the C55 AMG. A4 released and immediately targets the 3 series (the 3 series 325 goes on to win the World car of the year at that same point in time),S3 RELEASED AND TARGETS THE 130 (not the A or Bclass Merc nor Golf GTI), HELLO THERE DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR...The sad fact of the matter is that Audi goes on to realease an R8 by using Lamborghini engineering just so they can have the measure of BMW. Maybe Audi and Merc (they use abnormal cc what next a 10 litre, V16 E AMG)should use ET intellegence to beat BMW.

A CLK is a cross breed of a hyena and a Ford Falcon from Australia. please that CLK 4 door coupe is a dinosaur already. and talk of a 2004 S class, they are trading fro less than R200,000 in south africa at second hand car dealerships. No one wants them. Haven't you also noticed the stolen cue designs from the 7 series on the S class. Dash board, boot lid and also the Rover 60's rear lights. oh i forgot the idrive. Now do you really think Merc is a class leader? no way they are currently stealing other pipos hard work and calling it innovation, yes they have a new way of stealing designs by mixing design cues from other car makers. Why is the side profile of Merc so close to the bangle design and (they didn't lift anything from Audi in design as like i have said before, Audi is a cheap masked VW Jetta)sudenly they have expanded their mag rim options just like BMW, sports pack just like BMW, cheap plastic dominated inetrior finish just like Toyota Corolla.CLK my foot, please man.

So what if BMW is better? Thats your opinion anyway, no one cares about what you think. In case you didnt get that NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK!!!!!!!!! GO sell some AMs
