I wonder what is exactly meant by 'biohybrid'. Am I out of the loop? Is this car powered by by a diesel motor capable of using biodiesel? Or are we talking about ethanol? What constitutes an engine that runs on 'BioPower' with 'hybrid' power assistance? Hmmmm... I'm intrigued. If anyone knows. please fill me in.

If i am not mistaken saab uses Bioethanol in its BioPower range, i would expect this to be the same, and as for hybrid assistance seems like it means the engine and the electrical motors work in conjunction to create the 200hp figure. I could be wrong though.

"BioPower" is a trademane for biofuel-capable engines - that includes bioethanol and biodiesel. If Saab says a 1.4-liter engine delivers 200bhp, I'd guess it can work on gasoline and ethanol.

Therefore, "BioHybrid" means the car has both a biofuel-capable internal combustion engine and an electric engine.
