The Scirocco perhaps is the hottest hatch from Volkswagen this year, with much speculation of its Geneva debut in the recent weeks. A few days ago, Volkswagen launched a minisite as a teaser to this new sports coupe. Nothing essential was revealed on the site, apart from the car’s power train which turns out to be the VW Group’s infamous 2.0 TFSI engine. With renewed enthusiasm for the new coupe, VW communities all over the Internet are building with anticipation.
Unexpectedly, the Scirocco was discovered today in the updated Geneva Motor Show's official premiere list. In addition, CarScoop had contacted one of their sources at Volkswagen upon finding this and managed to confirm the good news for us; the Scirocco is indeed making its debut at Geneva next week.
