Do you ACTUALLY believe that Japanese cars are better than their German equivalents at all levels and in all sectors? You think the G is a better car than the 3-series?
I am not a BMW fan, but I acknowledge the talent in what they achieve from an engineering perspective. It's their marketing I don't like.

I could not agree with you more. Those German cars are overpriced and underpowered. Plus that G37 looks beautiful!!!

Of course this car is better than the 3-series. It has Japanese reliability, rear wheel steering, and it out performes every 3 series except for the 335i on the 0-60, and thats only because it has a twin turbo. And by the way, everytime they compare the 335 and the g37, the 335 always malfunctions when it overheats. The g37 will never overheat and it costs well under $10k less. I think its a no brainer to choose it over the overpriced german car that breaks down. Many people even say that the g37 out handles the 3-series. wow and infinity didnt even have to put the battery in the trunk to do it......

may be its time to acknowledge the engineering talent the Japanese have then. Nissan's VQ Series engine has been listed as one of the world's best engines for the past 10 years by Wards Auto. Every single year since its introduction has it won that specific accolade. no other car company can claim that. and if thats not a testament to their engineering prowess, then the GTR should put paid to the idea of the so called "inferior Japanese" vehicles.

And by most standards, the Infiniti G37 is an impressive car and a lot of fun. But it isn't as quick as the BMW 335i, nor does it engage its driver with equal commitment.
...Due to its higher price and shorter features list, the 3 Series won this test by only 2.3 points. But contained within those points are all the details that make it a more intimate and involving driving partner.
There you have it an extract from 'Edmunds inside lane'. The BMW 3 series is yet again used as a bench mark (take note all other car makers). This car is so much like a boxer in the mould of rocky marciano, it has alot of battle scars on it's cv with almost every one of them it won. The 3 series will die like rocky, UNDEFEATED.

Even though, the Infinitis are far away better. They may not be better in driving experience, but they really are in terms of price and reliability.. Which is something the germans can never do.. Good job infiniti..
