I'm not impressed with the quality of the current XJ. Aren't Jags supposed to make you feel, you know, "special"?

You dont buy british for quality or engineering, you buy them for styling, like an alfa. This car still has iconic styling. It is still a beautiful car, but not worth buying new, a 1 year old one can be had for under 70,000$ fully loaded, new 129,000$. An absolutely mint 2003 XJR will set you back roughly 30,000$ which is very nice.
