Uncomptitive power output in this sector - 200bhp is what everyone else has. Although this engine is reliably able to produce 215bhp plus; why they didn't give it that now I have no idea.

surely the more powerful engine is being preserved for the GTi. this is only the GT model remember, more of a warm hatch rather than the full out red blooded hot hatch that will no doubt be looking to compete with the golf GTi,astra vxr, focus st's of this world

a bit odd that the 3 door model has a less pronouced swage line compared to the 5 door. looks a bit slab sided in comparison.
