Sources inside Audi claim that A4 allroad will only come flatback, and not with two variants, sedan and Avant. We’ve caught the little Quattro testing again in sedan regalia, but only because there is not an Avant version of the new A4 yet.
At the same time our artist performed his magic to show us what an Avant version allroad would probably look like in 3.0-litre TDI guise. The car looks more purposeful than the sedan, offering possibilities beyond just raising suspension a few inches. In fact, a little birdie told us Audi is considering a high-performance version of the allroad, most probably diesel-powered, but also likely to be badged S.
