Hmm, some time ago Mike Kimberley, CEO is Lotus, expressed a wish to see Lotus back in to badging performance versions of "normal" cars, in the style of the Lotus Cortina and Omega/Carlton. It was widely believed that a cooking Proton would come along wearing Lotus badges. I wonder if the Satria was considered not good enough to wear the CABC badge...?

I had spoken with the proton rep a perth motorshow,the had confirmed that the Neo R3 for aussie release will be reengineered n turbocharged! selling at AUD28k. will be released by end 2008 to early 2009.
