while the overall looks is great, I think they've messed up the interior a little bit - too combined. The climate control panel especially. Although i understand they wanted to be more original in this one, than in the new mondeo for example

It started with the 407. And now, I think this "goldfish mouth" thing is getting too much. Nice, but I think this car is trying too hard and is OTT.

a little bit to fussy, and not that coherent. just like chris bangles flame surfacing with all its sharp creases, which ford have clearly copied, the car just looks so disjointed. the front doesnt really match the back, and overall, too much going on. current clio and corsa are much better design wise

How it isn't coherent? Horizontal head lights and vertical backlights, plus "flames" and wedges are inherent to modern design. Bangle's hasn't invented anything, just re-arranged it. Just to mention a pre-Bangle great design bearing both cues, there you have Pininfarina's Ferrari 456GT.

It looks nearly as good as Mazda 2. You can see the same basic, but Mazda has a bit more understatement. The Fiesta is brave styled. I like the design of the interiour!

Cruise control, rear power windows, body coloured door handles and not a horrid chunky black Kia Rio style side protection strip in sight! They fixed all the small details that ruins the current fiesta for me. Gimme a full kit of airbags and esp and I'm sold! :-)
