5-door Aveo on sale this March

The new Chevrolet Aveo with 5-doors hasn't even gone on sale yet, sales start this March, and Chevy Europe is already extending its compact class range. The three-door variant will be following the five-door to dealerships by a few months, with sales expected to commence in June.

The new Chevrolet Aveo has an all new exterior design, new interior and more efficient engines than its predecessor. There will a choice between two engines, a 1.2 liter 84 hp engine and a 1.4 liter unit putting out 101 hp.

Last year at the Geneva Motor Show Chevrolet started a design contest called Young? Creative? Chevrolet! and this year the winning outfit from the fashion category will be worn by the Chevrolet hostesses on the stand. 20-year old Lea Schindler designed the dress.

To me, it's got a bit of an Opel or Hyundai look to it. And it's probably all very modern, but I don't like the placement of the badge on the front.

I agree the badge is wrong, it should be higher- in the top grill, or they should've gone for a completeelt open grill- blacked out the number plate bar

not number plate- the badge section, you know what I mean- like an Audi. The Pontiac version is a lot prettier.

This will be the debut with the least spectators, maybe the janitor will have to watch it while cleaning the carpet...who cares?
