The horsepower wars in Europe show no signs of slowing down, as witnessed by Audi’s latest RS 6 sedan. Undergoing cold weather testing in Scandinavia, our spy shots give us the best view yet of what to expect when the production model debuts later this year.

Powered by the same V-10 as found in the RS 6 Avant ,which debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the engine is expected to put out 580hp and 650Nm of torque. Expect a 0-100km in less than 4.6 seconds and 0-200km/h by the 15 second mark.

Outside Audi's new super sedan features RS 6 badging on the brake calipers and grille, while the interior has RS 6 logos on the seats and instrument panel.

If some are still wondering about LEDs, those are A6 headlights. They will later be exchanged for same headlights that are on RS6 avant with LEDs integrated into the headlights, which in my opinion look absolutely stunning. And I love Audi grills.

Very stunning car. The tail lights however, looks like that of the 98 A4 (almost).

There are some more parts of the standard A6, e.g. the steering wheel, which doesn't fit the RS looks.

I'll lean back and wait to see more photos of this, they'll hopefully take care of the lights.

The tail lights look so ... well, unicolor?

the wheels are a direct copy of the M6 wheels, what is up Audi?

Think you'll find that BMW copied these for the M6 as Audi have created these many years back. They are slightly re-styled to bring up to date.

What is the difference betwen this RS6 to the old one? nothing except that it has lost a bit of flab. On the rims , yes i belive this is a rip of BMW M6 and restyling doen't make them original. RS6 old rims are different and never looked anything like this. The Avant still looks more potent, with this saloon, boy i hate the A6 guinea pig back side look. Picture a sprinter running whilst pulling in his butt.

In i meant that the Avant is a better car than the sedan. This car however does look alot like an oversized RS4 which i considered to be good to look at.

I still hate the boot of the sedan.
