2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8
First limited edition
Factory customized
The Ford Edge is surprisingly popular in the USA. Tuning your car is a booming business, Ford estimates it at a 40 billion dollar industry. Ford is also very keen to get a piece of that pie by creating factory customized cars. But factory made, mass produced individualisation? Isn't that mutually exclusive?
The Edge Sport is nothing more than a fancy version of the Edge, like the SE, SEL amd Limited models. It's a shame that Ford has failed to upgrade the engine into something more sportier and has stuck to 'sportier' wheels (22 inch), exhaust pipes, colour, leather interior and badges.

Amazing car.. Amazing looks.. STUNNING sound.. at 3:40, it looks like its an 1970 car... Some of its parts looks cheap while zooming, but beautiful car anyhow..

Looks sweet. First things i would do though is get some wider wheels in the back. Lower it an inch or so, and get a Hennessey stainless exhaust and tune.

why won't they bring it to the UK? We get all the lame-ass Dodges and so it has ZERO presence in the UK market- this and the Charger would change all that

I love this car but MAN DID THEY DROP THE BALL ON THE INTERIOR!!! Are you kidding me?? It looks just like the chrysler 300 interior. Outside looks like a muscle car and inside liks like a granny mobile. It looks nothing like the concept cars interior....

Whew...and here I thought this car was going to actually be fast! My 2008 Mustang GT at 300/320 does 4.9-5.1 0-60 fully loaded (as in every single option to include Navigation) for 31.2k. After adding a Saleen Supercharger for 6k (37.2k total and 795 cheaper than this car) im at 475/440. 405RWHP and 398RWTQ from a Dyno jet.
The Charger is a tank with wheels at around 4100lbs, Mustangs are around 3450lbs. Seeing how this is the "SRT8" version, its even weaker since this is their Special series vehicle. For MSRP 42k (I know you can't get them for this but you won't get SRT8 Chargers for MSRP of 37.9k either) you can get Shelby Mustang GT500 which will just stomp the #$%$# out of a charger SRT8.
Weak, very very Weak!
