Alfa Romeo has released an updated version of its 147 Collezione (collection) model for 2008 in the UK. Customers can now choose from new paint combinations, including the option of a Ghiaccio White special paint finish.The new version boasts exclusive 17 inch alloy wheels and the option of a black gloss roof, which essentially means that they just paint the roof of your 147 black.

The 147 Collezione also comes with a lowered suspension which has apparently also been uprated for a more entertaining driving experience. Engine options include a 1.6TS petrol or 1.9JTDM diesel engine, both producing 120 bhp. Prices start at £13,950 for the 1.6TS 3-door and the before mentioned black roof paint option will set you back an extra £500.

NEW LIMITED EDITION ALFA 147 COLLEZIONE COMES TO UK

Building on last year’s highly successful limited edition Alfa 147 Collezione, Italian sporting car manufacturer, Alfa Romeo, has made it even better for 2008 – complete with lowered suspension, new paint combinations, leather interior and exclusive 17 inch alloy wheels.

For the first time ever, the Alfa 147 Collezione will be available in a striking Ghiaccio White special paint finish, along with the unique option of a black gloss roof. The black roof paint choice is also extended to Alfa Red versions of the multi award-winning Alfa 147 range.

Available from Saturday 9 February at just £13,950, latest versions of the 3 and 5-door Alfa 147 Collezione feature uprated suspension for a more entertaining driving experience, coupled with extra features for passenger comfort.

Behind the wheel, drivers will benefit from air conditioning and steering wheel mounted controls for the CD player, plus the knowledge that the vehicle is equipped with six airbags, ABS anti-lock brakes with EBD, and ASR traction control. A high tech alarm system also comes as standard to help keep this desirable model in the hands of its rightful owner.

Powered by either a 1.6TS petrol or 1.9JTDM diesel engine, both producing 120 bhp, the Alfa 147 Collezione accelerates from 0-62 mph in 10.6 and 9.6 seconds respectively and on to top speeds of 120 and 121 mph.
