Old luxury just got put on notice
Audi has spent some USD 6 million on air time only well, whether Americans will flock to Audi dealerships in order to lay their hands on an already extremely popular Audi R8 is debatable but the advertisement will definitely raise awareness of the brand considerably.
Actor Alex Rocco, aka Moe Greene from the Godfather, wakes up to find his Rolls Royce grille at his feet copying the famous scene from the Godfather where Hollywood producer Jack Woltz wakes to find his prized horse Khartoum's head in his bed.
On a side note, the New York Giants beat the favourite Patriots by three points thanks to a last minute touch-down.

It's okay...much better than GMC Hybrid Yukon commercial. E-Trade baby commercial was the one of the best, though not car related.
I thought this commercial was disappointing. I liked the Godfather sequence, but the "old luxury" theme did not pair well with the product (R8). In addition, I thought it could have been better executed if the R8 drove into a circle of the complete lineup of Audi products, to better associate itself with what most other people purchase. Finally, I was hoping to see an R8 Spyder...
E-Trade (baby trader), Bridgestone (screaming wild animals and car passenger), and Tide (talking shirt stain) were my favorite ads. Among the low moments included Danica Patrick's cleavage sellout for godaddy.com (she can't win any races, so this is the only way for her to get noticed?!).
