I like both in their own way. I will say I think the Camaro is more distinctive than the Challenger... But the Challenger pulled off the classic muscle car shape so well that it's hard not to like it.

I think that the Challenger is better in look.. It doesn't mean that Camaro is not good.. IT IS SPECTACULAR.. But the Challenger carried all the "genes" of its dad, which made it REALLY special.. Both cars are BEAUTIFUL.. One of the most beautiful cars of this decade.. The only problem they might face is the building quality and handling.. HOPE THEY EXCEED THE EXPECTATIONS..

I prefer the Challenger it looks more solid and mean, this is like a softened version of the classic. If you are going for the retro look go all the way. The challenger is a true revival of a muscle car, this is just another 2 door coupe with a v8. But thats just my opinion.

The car driving past it is better. Ford Falcon, i wish they brought that over here, especially the Turbo or the BOSS.

The Camaro was better executed than the Challenger in my opinion. It has a hint of the oldie classic, and yet it does look modern (and very aggressive). The Challenger LOOKS old school (which is OK), almost exactly like the 70 challenger. The idea was not to remake the old car though... there are plenty in collectors' garages, but just to rekindle the memories of a bygone era, in the hope of reviving the model. Dodge missed the point by a mile.

Just quickly. The car is going to have the independent rear. The same as in the VE Commodore (Pontiac G8) sedan platform, upon which the production vehicle is based. The VE's are, in my opinion, an excellent handling vehicle and comparable to many European cars, excluding the top range ones. And as for a possible revival of our Aussie Monaro or the GTO badged version of it, GM Holden displayed a "production ready" coupe at the Melbourne Motor Show just this week.
