looks like the new style of the astra few years back came and went and we are back to ugly ducks. Corsa/Insignia - ugly looking cars

The back works really well when faced on, otherwise it looks a little ungainly and awkward. I'll reserve judgement until it is undisguised.

Mondeo has rubbish rear headroom so at least the insignia will be on equal terms there. If it handles anywhere near the mondeo I think it will do better in sales. A nice though rather derivative Bimmer 5 series X Mazda 6 love child.
