The Twindoor system is a great idea, i can't belive nobody figured it out earlier

I figured it out :) some years ago in some own conceptions, but I saw, that it makes not the economical sence.
I like the new Superb! The Design and the designline is unique (for a konservative understatement) I whould prefer it 10 times more then a Passat

it was March 5, 1962, while working in my basement, i tripped and bump my head on the counter-top. then it flashed in my head...the twin door system. now i sold it to skoda and became an instant millionaire. then i went out and bought me a BMW. i died and went to heaven.

Too bad it's so bulky and ugly sideways, the front end looks great though, even if somehow BMW reminiscent. Interior nice but déjà -vu. I'd eventually buy one for discreet chauffeur transportation if I get my permit confiscated for 6 months due to overspeeding my 911 GT3.

it looks nice, the interior has changed (finally) but the thing is that i dunno why they still use the hand brakes most cars in its range use buttons or somethin else for hand brakes.

I thought exactly the same so there's probably some truth in it.
While the overall look is O.K. with me, I somehow can't develop a little love for the rear end. Too Renault-ish.

it looks really nice, interior is really changed.
good job skoda.

looks like a renault...
i was hoping for a better design... skoda is going the wrong direction... the old octavia was nice... to translate that into a new design would have been cool... but to go the french direction is just wrong...
also the little transporter looks ugly, wheels too small, out of proportion...

and the side view looks like a volvo... and we know how their sales are going.... down....

Volvo's look better because eventhough they're FWD their engine is transversally mounted which allows for a bigger axis-to-dash ratio and shorter front overhang, thus being closer to a sleeker RWD design. Anyway, this is the outcome of an aristocrat (BMW) having sex with the maid (Logan-Renault) lol

Iam very excited about this car,its looks great in the pictures, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh,Skoda cant do anything wrong these days it seems, this vehicle is further proof, even though its similar to a passat underneath it wont be as common, its will compete against the Mondeo and Passat head to head but its hatchback versatility and interior space make it somewhat a niche car, half price Phaeton anyone?

jaguar much??? this looks almost identical in some ways such as the tail lights, the hood, and even the front lights and parts of the interior to the jaguar XF.
dunno if its just me but a little unoriginal by skoda
still a nice car though!

I love the new design except for the rear end. To my mind, it resembles a Renault Laguna or even worse any kind of an Korean car. In an interview the project manager told that due to the press' resonance, there would be still some time to put the finishing touches to the new Superb. Hopefully they'll do so!

It will be used as a taxi surely, here in Madrid. Most of the taxis you can find here in this city are Skodas
The twin door system looks really smart.
