Just one day after Brussels was the presentation of the new C5 in Vienna, where I saw this car already! The design is, I think, the best in it´s class. But a little too expensive for a Citroen, I think. You can´t sell this at the same price as a VW Passat ....

Why not? They seem to have reached high quality standards (both in and out); it looks better than the Passat, especially the estate version which is outstanding, not to mention the striking interior. The handling is going to be superior too, especially with its sophisticated air suspension. The only drawback I see in respect to the VW would be the residual value on re-selling, assuming they've improved their overall reliability, as claimed by PSA's new chairman. On the other hand, I'm afraid it's going to cannibalize sales from the C6...

You have also to keep in mind their marketing politics are quite different. Citroen tends to display fat retail prices coupled with agressive dealer discounts and special offers, while VW-Audi is more conservative and got narrower dealing margins.

It is not a true citroen. It is a car like the others, so it will not be in the history like others citroen´s,

I think it looks great,only hope the airdream convertable or 407 type coupe follows?

Looks nice and elegant but not sure to be as successful as Passat. First should try it in real life.
