Another study says the german 'dreamcars' are Mercedes, Audi and Volkswagen(!), for each brand 13 of 100 Germans said they would like to own. Only 5 want to rush with a Porsche over the autobahn. Porsche is just cool, the little loser-company, that became so succesful and soon owns volkswagen - the german dream ;)

That be a German study, too? You see VWs everywhere and it get you fed up. The cars you're most likely to encounter at high speeds in the fast lane are Audi's Avant models. Only 5 going for the Porsche? Did they say anything about financial backup so you don't have to worry about the costs of running one for years? I'm sure a lot more would go for 911s if they were able to compensate the costs that'd arise.

That result could be easily biased: what if most of the interviewed ppl were family men and soccer moms? Remember how "square-minded" the germans are.
