Yeah, those electric boxes are common in Scandinavia where you can plug in your car, if its equipped with an engine block heater.
Can't wait to see it with the top down. beautiful car.

No. We have anti-freezing liquid for the radiator.
The electricity is for preheating the engine before startup in colder places. It´s better for the engine and makes it easier to start.

Aston must really be working hard with all these new cars coming out! The DBS itself isn't even out yet. Are you sure this isn't some custom tuning job like the Ford GTX1? Also, why in the snow? Also, who took these pics, because it's way up in Northern Scandinavia, so do you guys work for Aston or Something? If you guys took these pics yourself, how come you didn't wipe the snow off, espescially where is supposed to say "DBS"
Please answers these questions, I really want to know.

1. aston is not owned by ford anymore; it is now independent, so the ford comment is irrelevant
2. because it is in fact a spy shot, aston hides the badge
3. no this is not a tuning job because based on db history, it only makes sense to release the dbs as a volante as well
4. if one of us did take the photo, which none of us did, we would probably tell you
5. snow because no matter the car it should be able to run in the snow nowadays
6. bmw hasn't released the new m3 coupe but they are ready with the convertible and the sedan (a first by the way)--point: cars do not have to already be on sale first then have other versions available--another example: audi a5 to be released after audi s5

Aston is not independant. The BMW M3 Coupe is out and in showrooms, the sedan is not something new the E36 came in 4 door sedan.

aston was sold by ford; the m3 coupe may be sitting in the showrooms but it has not been sold yet, audi did that with the r8, just because its in the showroom it doesn't mean its being sold yet the clubman also has yet to be sold; ur right about the sedan thing tho

Aston Martin is independent and isn't owned by Ford. Richard Hammond from Top Gear even said this during his road test in the DB9 Volante.
