The steering wheel looks horrifying. Thats why I would prefer the old version.

Ridiculous, precisely that was the only flaw on the old model, with that old-fashioned oval gay shape. Now it's both sporty and elegant, which suits perfectly the car's character.

the led rear lights are nicer. the steering wheel doesn't look right in the interior.

Pictures never do this car justice. In the flesh it's a car with genuine presence and genuinely 'sorted' proportions.

the problem with this car for me is that even though it has great lines, the back seat is useless unless your a miget or a child. To hard to get in and out of and no leg room so..... Bash me all you want butit is what it is

Maybe you should lose a "few" extra pounds as well lol
Otherwise, either you're 6'5, or the front seats were adjusted for tall persons... Okay, it is no limousine whatsoever, and it's not as passanger friendly as a minivan, but still, two average sized adults can travel in the back seat. Don't forget it's still a coupé despite featuring four doors.

State-of the art before and now!! its enough that MB is the creator of the 4 door coupe category, I like when car manufacturers think out of the box!!!
January 20, 2008 1:44 pm
No other car company can pull off a race influenced 4 door sedan. It'd be even greater with the very same 6ltr bi-turbo V12 they dropped into the S65. And even greater if merc developed a 7G tronic box capable of handling 700nm+
