Hot on the heels of the recently spotted Renault Laguna Coupe we have what appear to be the first spy shots of another new model variant to be added to the range. The shots pictured lead us to believe the current generation which was officially revealed back in June last year will have a sedan variant added to the range.
The protoype pictured was caught whilst undergoing testing in Norway last weekend and the giveaway that this is a sedan is the location of the (black) zipper on the rear of the vehicle which ends at the bottom of the window – just enough to open the boot lid. If it was a fastback the zipper would have to go right to the top in order for the rear door to be opened. Another noticeable detail are the placement of the headlights which will sport a different design to the fastback model. The length of the new model will grow significantly over the fastback and estate versions.
