First AUDI R8 TDI, now this???????????.....ohhhhh nooooo! Who needs a sport car that is economical and environmental friendly? Drive a mountain bike Ferrari if you want that, don?t bye a sport car. I hope that they will never make a Ferrari on Electric motor. Better to leave the sport cars in history than to make them without the sound from the exhaust and the engine.

Bio fuel is not a hybrid. There is no fruity electric motor here. This it a true sports car and it uses fuel that has ethanol in it, which is bio fuel and is more friendly to the environment and if the engine is tuned properly it has more horses than regular fuel. This is the smart way of going eco-friendly more horse power and u dont feel self conscious. Plus if you cant find the fuel you can go to a normal gas station.

What difference does it make if the performance is good? Ferrari is at risk for not doing something "green". If they didn't explore these things eventually they'd be the only ones, get singled out, and maybe regulated out of business.
Everyone has to change with the times. If they hadn't before they'd still be making carbureted V-12s, hand beaten aluminum bodies, and wire wheels. Plus the cars wouldn't be as fast - nor would they win any F1 titles.
This biofuel concept is not a bad thing.

Bio fuel isn't eco friendly! (it's renewable) so why won't people stop saying it is?

I don't think ferarri will ever go diesel. Ferarri doesn't like torque as much as HP. Excess torque means you are slower off the line like american cars and mercedes. Ferarri likes perfection and handeling so their cars wont spin out. I honestly do not think Ferrai is trying anything eco here. I think they are trying out a new fuel to get more horsepower and tourque and the fuel just happened to be eco friendly. When the Koenigsegg whas making about 700-800 hp they tuned it to take this fuel and it went up to about 900-1000 hp. This eco business that they put on the side is just to make them look good but ferarri will always be the beast that it is.

can you all imagine it's no a diesel or hybrid??? It has more power, has more torque and lower fuel consumption! And what's more it makes same astonishing sound as the standard one!
