Porsche Boxster and Cayman Facelift Spy Photos
Almost undisguised
Almost undisguised
It has been a while since the facelifted Porsche Boxster and Cayman were caught out in the open. Today we have laid our hands on the latest, and maybe last, spy photos of the revised Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman.
The current Porsche Boxster underwent a facelift back in 2004 and the new revision is expected to reach markets in 2008. Judging by these images, Porsche is almost done.
The Porsche Cayman has only been on the market since the 2006 model year, so the facelift comes a little early in its life-cycle, but we are not complaining. The Cayman front end changes in multiple ways, firstly LED-daytime driving lights are added, front headlamps change shape slightly and the foglights move to the outer corners of the revised front bumper. The middle air intake in the bumper has grown too.
Our sources expect to see direct-injection engines, just like on the 911 facelift.
[Note] Some strips of tape around the lights have been removed by computer.

They all need the power and economy hike, BMW are leaving them behind for these (130i, 135i etc.) and Audi are starting to.
Also it could just get the Boxster S under the London emission charge rate (225gm) if they engineered it right.
