Weeks after the first new Knight Rider teaser video comes the second one. Ford has supposedly paid an 'enormous' amount to have the new Mustang GT500KR as the next KITT (Knight Industries Two Three Thousand). Makes you wonder what car KITT could have been if either GM had either finished the Camaro earlier or Chrysler had more money lying about the office.
Anyway, I digress. Jalopnik has been kind enough to supply us with the transcription of the advert. “Finally, a motorcar that defines indulgence. 550 horsepower...standard. Racing-tuned suspension...standard. Xenon headlamps with Infrared night vision...standard. Metallic paint with nanotech-enhanced camouflage, access to military satellite...imaging...self-regenerating and damage...FBI network...high-speed internet...solar-powered hybrid engine...artificial intelligence...voice-activated GPS...standard. Driver? Optional. But really...enough about me.”
